Family Bio:
Ryan was born and raised in Muhlenberg County. He currently resides in Greenville, Kentucky with his wife, Summer Rice and their two beautiful daughters, Reagan and Caroline. When he is not at the office or in court, Ryan enjoys spending quality time with his family, golfing and fishing during the summer months, and deer hunting in the fall.
Professional Bio:
Mr. Rice is a dedicated public servant with over a decade of experience with the Muhlenberg County Attorney’s Office. He works closely with all Muhlenberg County elected officials, department heads, court personnel, and law enforcement agencies. He serves as the chief prosecutor for the Muhlenberg District Court and sole legal advisor to the Muhlenberg County Fiscal Court. In his role as special prosecutor, Mr. Rice was instrumental in relocating the Muhlenberg County Child Support Office back to Muhlenberg County in 2016. Prior to that, the child support office had been in McLean County for well over 30 years. Since taking over as County Attorney in 2019, he has implemented important new initiatives such as the County Attorney Traffic Safety Program, the Home Incarceration Program, and the Community Service Program.
