- You may fill out a criminal statement form with our office which will be reviewed by the County Attorney. If there is probable cause to believe a crime has been committed, the County Attorney will refer your statement to the appropriate law enforcement agency and request a formal investigation on your behalf. You will be notified whether your statement has been referred for a criminal investigation or not.
